Sarah Poet

I was born in southern Pennsylvania, and one of my favorite childhood memories is when my mother packed my sisters and me into the car and drove us to Grandfather Mountain in Boone, NC. We crossed the Mile High Swinging Bridge and explored the mountains where her father and grandmother had been born and raised.

She showed us the home where my grandfather had lived. It was simple, rural Appalachian, and honest. That trip left a lasting impression on me, and my heart has always felt connected to Western North Carolina.

I first moved to North Carolina for college in 1999 and later returned permanently in my twenties. I hold an undergraduate degree in Sustainable Food Systems, a Master's degree in Special Education with a focus on Social and Emotional Development, and a Post-Master's degree in Educational Leadership. I've been an entrepreneur in Asheville since 2018, which is also when I first met Lacey, our Broker-in-Charge.

In my free time, you'll likely find me hiking in these mountains with my dog, Holiday, tucked into a local bookstore with my laptop writing, or working in my other two aligned businesses. In addition to real estate, I have a professional coaching and healing practice, and I work with families to help them protect their financial assets.

Joining LOVE Land & Home was the only option for me when entering real estate and I love that we defy industry stereotypes! I trust Lacey's ethics, admire the firm she has built, and appreciate that we prioritize people and relationships over transactions. My passions in real estate include helping local families and first-time homebuyers secure housing in a growing region, as well as helping conscious landowners and homebuyers find property in these sacred mountains that they intend to steward with care.
